Literacy AmeriCorps Palm Beach County
A project of the Palm Beach County Literacy Coalition in Florida, its AmeriCorpsmembers provide tutoring, mentoring and related literacy services in schools, after school programs, adult education and family literacy programs, and other community agencies throughout the county. Learn more.


Literacy*AmeriCorps - San Diego
A project of the San Diego Council on Literacy, it's AmeriCorps members teach adult literacy, family literacy, youth literacy, and ESL to residents across the San Diego region.  Learn more.


The Piney Woods School
The only high school in the country that offers an AmeriCorps program for its students, the Mississippi school's twelfth graders tutor fellow ninth through eleventh grade students, lead tutoring sessions with other students over the Web, and participate in various community service projects. Learn more.


United Way of Ponca City
Its AmeriCorps members serve in three Oklahoma counties, providing tutoring, disaster preparedness, violence prevention, mentoring and outreach services to enhance educational outcomes and life opportunities for children, parents and grandparents.  Learn more.

The Monterey County Free Libraries
