More and more Internet-based services to train, support, monitor
and/or evaluate volunteers are becoming available every year.
Whether the services are free or fee-for-service, it's important
that as programs evaluate those services, programs first ensure that
their volunteers have access to the Internet and are comfortable
using it.
We designed the following free, easy to use survey for programs
to quickly take stock of their volunteers' access to and comfort
with the Internet.
You can download the survey in two formats,
Microsoft Word or
PDF/Acrobat.
If this
survey leads you to evaluate any Internet-based service, we strongly
encourage you to bring your volunteers into at least one of
those evaluation meetings to ensure that whatever service
you're looking at would be welcomed by your volunteers.
