The ELEV8 Youth Program provides integrated site-based academic intervention services at seven high need schools in Oakland and Union City, CA. AmeriCorps Members provide intensive academic tutoring services to the highest need students. Program goals include; increased academic performance; increased volunteerism and community engagement; and development of a highly trained corps of tutors and volunteers.

Every Year, 450 high need students will have participated in the program and a minimum of 60% of all student participants will improve their academic performance in English Language Arts and/or Math by one functional grade level. The ELEV8 Middle School Youth Program is an AmeriCorps Program operated by Safe Passages, administered by California Volunteers (CV) on behalf of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).
